We are very excited to bring you the second installment of our Alumni Spotlight Series with our very first graduate of the Dental Assisting Program, Ashlie Campbell! Ashlie graduated from the Dental Assisting program in the Winter of 2013 and was immediately brought on board at Morrison Dental Group as Dr. Morrison’s assistant.

Ashlie spent a year growing and learning as Dr. Morrison’s assistant before taking on some new challenges, both with Morrison Education Center and Morrison Dental Group. She is now assisting with the Morrison Migraine Center using TruDenta Technology for the alleviation of migraine headaches.

After working with several terms of students during their Dental Assisting internship, Ashlie has now taken on the role of instructor for several lessons in our Dental Office Administration course. She really enjoys having the ability to not only work with students in the classroom, but with hands on activities as well. She also finds it easy to relate to other students since she herself is a graduate from the Dental Assisting program.

If Ashlie could give any advice to future MEC students it would be to take advantage of the internship and not only learn from the other assistants, but from the patients as well. We are very excited to have Ashlie as member of our faculty and look forward to watching her grow within the dental field.
